Of our five senses, the one that can change our emotions more quickly that any other is the sense of smell. If we were involved in a traumatic event and there was a unique smell, such as someone's perfume, at the site of the trauma, the smell of a similar perfume can immediately bring the sense of terror back in our mind. Similarly, if there is a smell that we associate with a happy event that smell will bring us great joy. Scented candles can be used to help us recognize the changes of the season.

Here is a guide to some appropriate candle scents for the different seasons.

The spring is a time of bright sunshine and fresh flowers. Candle scents that are appropriate include light floral scents that do not overpower a room. Citrus scents such as lemon and light orange or even grapefruit are also appropriate for this light airy scent.

When summer arrives with its heat, we sometimes do not want to burn candles, however if you have several sitting around they can give off a lighter version of their scent. Summer is a great time to use candles that are scented like summer fruits. Scents should reflect berries, melons, and even cucumbers. If you can find a nice tangerine or even grape scent it is very nice during the summer months. Any apple scent is also a great choice, but green apple is a wonderful choice for summer.

When autumn arrives, our thoughts turn to harvest time. This is a perfect time for scents like pumpkin. If you need others, think of the spices that you would use in pumpkin pie, such as ginger and cinnamon. Just be careful to keep these scents from becoming too heavy in the room.

Winter is a favorite time for many people to burn candles. They add warmth to a room when it is cold outside. This is the time for the heavier scents to fill the room. Around the holidays, you may want to burn candles that smell like so many smells of Christmas. Bayberry is a long-standing traditional candle, but think of all the evergreen scents, mulling Christmas spices like cinnamon and cloves, candies such as peppermint as well as anything with a woodsy scent.

Christmas and Thanksgiving are times that you will want to have plenty of unscented candles around. Burning scented candles at the table can affect the taste of your food, but unscented candles can create a festive centerpiece.

Always use caution when burning candles. Keep the open flames away from flammable materials such as paper, evergreen needles or cellophane. Never leave a candle unattended. Be cautious of setting a burning candle on a lower shelf as it could catch the shelf above it on fire. Always keep candles out of the reach of children.

Candles can set the mood in a room. They add light, warmth and scent. Be sure to stock up on candles before each season so that you can continue to burn your favorite scents throughout that season.

Frederic Boucheron, who was born in the early 1800s, is the founder of the French jewelry house that shares his surname and is known only as Boucheron.

Since being founded in 1858, the company has been responsible for the creation of a number of various jewelry and watch pieces. During his lifetime, Frederick Boucheron was considered to be a pioneer in the industry as he experimented with various metals and gems in order to create new and innovatively exquisite pieces. Among his most notable achievements were the experiments he performed on diamond engraving, which was the groundwork that led to the “nature” style of Art Nouveu in the 19th century that featured snake, dragonfly, and butterfly images as well as other animal figures of a symbolic nature. He has also been credited as being the first person to design the wristwatch, as it is known today.

He was also the first jeweler to open at the prestigious Paris square of Place Vendome, which he did 25 years after founding the company. The company remains one of the most famous and respected French jewelry enterprises in the world. In addition, the jewelry house continues to be renown for its creativity and know-how.

By 1920, Boucheron had introduced the dangling earring to the world as well as the concept of white jewelry, which involved setting diamonds in platinum. He also designed crowns and other jewels for a number of queens and princesses.

In 1988, the jewelry house expanded to offer its own perfume. The perfume, which is recognized as being the first parfum bijou, was created in an attempt to capture the same craft and spirit that is used in each of the jewelry pieces the house creates. The perfume was such as success that the line was expanded in 2005 to include additional scents. Some of their most well known fragrances include Jaipur, Jaipur Saphir, Boucheron Pour Homme, Trouble, and Initial.

In 2000, the Gucci Group acquired the company. Some of the more recent perfume releases that have taken place since this acquisition have included Trouble Eau Legere and Jaipur Homme Fraicheur in 2006. All of these scents are available through major department stores and online fragrance distributors.

Her outburst was provoked by my new lightweight glen plaid summer jacket, a couture piece designed by the house of Moschino. The entire back is boldly emblazoned with the phrase "Good Taste Doesn't Exist." You can read it half a block away, even if you have been drinking vats of cheap wine all afternoon.

"Good Taste Doesn't Exist" was one of many aphorisms coined by the late, great Franco Moschino. "Fashion Is Full of Chic" is another.

When, back in the day, the much-missed Franco first incorporated the "Good Taste" phrase into his oeuvre, people were much smarter than they are now. Our brains had yet to become corroded by Paris Hilton, Ryan Seacrest, Oxycontin and Kim Kardashian's bottom.

Back in the 1980s, the good people of planet Earth understood that Moschino's intention was subversive. He was spotlighting the oppressive and fraudulent nature of the concept of good taste—i.e., good taste is totally subjective; i.e., one person's bedazzled pink nylon jumpsuit is another person's gray flannel chalk-stripe suit, etc., etc. Got it?

Now, some 15 years after Franco Moschino's death, the inhabitants of planet Earth are too busy tweeting and twatting and twoodling to grasp this concept, as evidenced by the fact that every time I wear my incendiary jacket, I am besieged by strangers wishing to reassure me, as the clochard with the thunderbird breath did, that good taste definitely exists because they themselves possess it. Most noteworthy: More often than not, their ejaculations include a disdainful reference to Ed Hardy, as in, "Oh, God! That Ed Hardy crap is such bad taste!"

Why Ed Hardy? Why now?

Ed Hardy, for those of you who have been living on Mars, is a fabulously gaudy fashion phenomenon created by designer Christian Audigier. Whether you know the name or not, you have seen the product a million times: Those signature tattoo-inspired T-shirts and be-rhinestoned accoutrements are a staple of reality shows of the Rock of Love genre. The depressed husband on Jon and Kate Plus 8 is invariably rocking a ferocious Hardy T-shirt.

The dotted line to reality TV has made Monsieur Audigier and his clothing line the bête noire of the fashion cognoscenti. The hipsters who wear Current Elliott jeans and tote Alexander Wang vest-bags would rather jump in a lake of boiling cheddar than adorn themselves with cheesy Hardy-wear.

Am I wearing it? Not yet. Do I defend it? Absolutely!

Criticizing Ed Hardy for being cheesy is like saying that Elvis was "flashy" or that Liberace was "tacky." It's a giant case of DUH! Of course it's cheesy! That's the whole point, you doo-doo heads. Ed Hardy is fromage-y and hedonistic and naughty and badass and—the ultimate crime in the world of haute fashion—Ed Hardy is FUN!

If you do not believe me, check out the gorgeous Web site: the bodacious beach towels! The hallucinogenic hoodies! The shagadelic shades! Bonjour! The unrestrained, bedazzled, heavy-metal-goes-Bollywood aesthetic rivals the gaudy heyday of Gianni Versace.

Instead of knocking it, the style arbiters of the world should be grateful. Monsieur Audigier has done a real mitzvah to the insecure fashion cognoscenti: He has given them something about which to feel superior. If Ed Hardy did not exist, they would have to invent it in order to get their snooty fix.

Adding to the roiling Hardy fromage fondue is the recent news that Monsieur Audigier is planning to purchase the Bev Hills crib where Michael Jackson popped his sabots. He is also—hang onto your wheels of brie!—planning to produce a Michael Jackson clothing line.

Before you start blathering on about the tastelessness of this idea, remember what Diana Vreeland said: "A little bad taste is like a nice splash of paprika. We all need a splash of bad taste—it's hearty, it's healthy, it's physical. No taste is what I'm against."

I can't remember the name, but it was in a translucent, very dark red glass bottle with sides that curved into a cone... Does anyone know the name of the fragrance or where I can find it??

so i know people that said that they once went into victorias secret pink and stole like 3 thongs. i asked them how they did it and they said that they just stuffed them in their purses and nobody even noticed. idk maybe they are making this up. has this ever happened to any of you? did u steal underwear?

I've never stolen anything. My best friend in high school used to steal and she got caught at Walmart and had to go to jail. I wouldn't risk it there at all b/c they have sensors.

There are two reasons why exotic lingerie exists, one is to turn your man on a lot, and the other is to have a giggle with your mates at a Supermodel Lingerie Bikini party, or whatever lingerie party it is, that you are invited to.

Let's get to the nitty gritty then; we all have fantasies about dressing up and looking really sexy for our man. Believe me, your man thinks about you getting dressed in really sexy lingerie too, not wearing it themselves - not in my world anyway!

Exotic lingerie is designed to get the man stimulated, this is a fact that many lingerie companies count on, and make a lot of money from and why lingerie creations like bare transparent lingerie, or sheer risque lingerie were created to leave little to the imagination and stimulate the senses (and more)!

Don't let the thought that whatever lingerie you are considering buying is trashy, (something that really doesn't leave much to the imagination at all, like open bust lingerie), or too erotic, like French Maid lingerie (but be careful where you put that duster)! There is really little difference between trashy and erotic, so don't be afraid to experiment, your man won't mind in the slightest!

Another important sensation in lingerie is the choice of fabric, this really does add to the mix, in choosing your exotic lingerie. We all pretty much love the feel of satins and silks, but now have the chance to experiment with leathers, plastics and velvet too. It really comes down to what you and your partner feel is sexy, and what it feels like. The last thing it is about is comfort, but you probably won't be wearing it for very long!

So why not just go for it, pick out some saucy open bust lingerie, or that itsy bitsy French Maid lingerie, with suspenders as well. Even if you never leave the house with it on, I'm sure it will become well worn, and keep your man happy!

If you stay indoors, you can create you own versions of Moulin Rouge or a strip club. Alternatively you might decide to go out, it might a new hot date you want to impress. So go out wearing your exotic lingerie, and you can decide if you want to drop hints as to what you are wearing or wait until the end of the evening, strip and enjoy the look of 'wow' on you date's face!

Whatever you decide, a lot of fun is in store for you and it might just become a habit! So expect to get hooked on buying sheer risque lingerie and open bust lingerie, and be warned your man might also choose to buy you some sexy lingerie too!

Can I carry stick deodorant on carry on for a flight?

I'm not staying long so I don't have baggage to check in so I pay less. All I have is my carry on.
