What is the difference between the body lotion & body cream, shower gel & body wash at bath & body works?

Is there really a difference? or is there a $1.50 increase in price for the body wash and body cream for no reason other than the name?

I dont think there's really a difference between the two of them....they just probably increased the price because of the name cuz all of them do the same thing - the lotion and the cream and then gel and body wash. there's no difference. I guess one sounds more sophisticated than the other...who knows..
