How can i shrink a black polo without fading it?

i have a black ralph lauren polo that is tall and i want to know if i continuously wash it and dry it will the black color start to fade.

First go with some color guard detergent. Then wash it in hot water and put in the dryer. The water wont effect the color if your using the right detergent plus if you have washed it before in cold water the color wont be effected anymore. The hot water is the key to this, the hot water and the dryer together works wonders!
