Why do men not like dating heavy set woman?

My close friend is heavy set.She is a great woman. Great personality.Very pretty.Funny as hell.Giving.Caring.Compassionate.smart. but men never give her a fair chance of dating.They always say "your cool as a friend"... she seems to only get the men that think she is so desperate for a man that they think they can get sex out of her THANK GOD she is smarter than that.

Because being in decent shape is a sign of personal responsibility and good stewardship- it can also be an indicator of emotional maturity as well. Being overweight can cause serious health problems. Why intentionally set yourself up for problems, or to burden your spouse with something you could easily control?

If you are not emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually in good shape, you're not as desireable a match.

If she gets in shape she will be more attractive, but also healthier, and most likely happier as well- especially if the only thing holding people back is her weight, which is something she needs to take some level of personal responsibility for instead of blaming others for not wanting to date her.
