The Sony Ericsson Jalou is a mobile designed for the stylish, fashion loving woman. With cool features and great style, the Sony Jalou has managed to impress women from all around the world.

Appearance - This new mobile boasts a clamshell model where the top can be flipped open. The key pad is present on the base. It looks sleek and stylish with gem like cuts and great finish. It is really small in size and fits easily into the palm of your hand, your bag, clutch, purse or pocket. It measures just 73mm in length when closed. Weighing just 84 grams, you can rest assured that it won't be a hefty addition to your handbag or jacket.

The Sony Jalou comes in 3 cool colours - Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black. The limited edition Dolce and Gabana version comes in a Sparkling Rose colour with 24 carat gold plating, gold tinted headsets and satin bags.

Display - This is a small device with a small display. The 2 inch display screen has QVGA resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and supports 256K colours. This means that although the screen is small, you can enjoy vibrant colours and clear images. There is a secondary monochrome display too. There's a feature called mirror key that makes sure that you can check your appearance while on the move.

Camera- The Sony Ericsson Jalou has a 3.2 mega pixel camera. It comes with features like geotagging, and video calling. There is no autofocus though. Video recording is also possible (QVGA@15fps).

Media- This new Sony phone has an MP3 and MP4 player. Features like Bluetooth Stereo, MEGA BASS, and TrackID are also present so that you get the most from the media player. You can download cool movies and music from the PlayNow arena.

Games - This Sony Ericsson model comes with 3-D games and boasts motion gaming. You can add more games by downloading them from the PlayNow arena.

Messaging -It supports SMS, MMS, push e-mail and instant messaging. With all these features, you can be in constant touch with friends and family.

Web - The Jalou also has good internet connectivity with GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD, and HSDPA at 3.6 Mbps. You can use the NetFront browser for internet browsing. This phone comes with You Tube and Google Search applications already installed. You even get Zodiac updates on your screen thought the year.

Memory - This handset has an internal memory of 100 MB which can be expanded using microSD card. The call log records up to 30 missed, received and dialed numbers.

Organizer- The organizer comes complete with features like alarm clock, calculator, calendar, phone book, notes, task list, stop watch, timer and so on.

Fitness features -This Sony Ericsson handset comes with a Walk Mate application which tracks the number of steps you take. Fitness freaks will love this one. There is even a BMI calculator to help you in your fitness endeavors.

Other features- Polyphonic ring tones, animated wall papers, cool themes, speakerphone, FM radio, sound recording and so on.
