Why does my dog roll over sample paper of perfume whenever he smells it?

It is really interesting, whenever I give my 8 year old german pointer one of those sample pages from magazines that have perfume samples on it, he rolls over onto it. Perhaps, he wants to smell good???

He wants to disguise his scent so he can attack his prey. This comes from his early roots of the wolfs. This is also why they roll in bad smelling stuff. Have fun and be lucky it isnt somethings droppings:):)
